In the past, that meant stuffing your recorder in an armband or packing a vest. Well, we've taken that idea to combine audio documentation into a wearable product. It is comfortable to wear with the adjustable smooth wristband that fits most. Wearing the recorder will increase audio evidence quality by eliminating the need to hold and fumble around with the recorder. The microphone is protected and strategically placed to gather clear audio while being worn. You can even detach the recorder from the wristband if you want to leave it in another space to recorder. Just pop it out of the band and set it down where you wish. You will also need to detach it to recharge or access the files. Record and transfer files easily. Light on size will turn red while it boots up for about 7 seconds. Light will turn WHITE to indicate it is now recording. To turn off recording simply slide the button back into the OFF position. Playback: Playback must be done via a computer. Remove the recorder from the wrist band and attach the USB cable. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a computer. You will see an external accessible device appear in a few moments. Browse to the 'RECORD' folder to find your recorded '.WAV' files. You can open these in just about any audio review/editing software you desire that has the ability to use WAV files. If you do not have one, we suggest a free software called Audacity. Low Battery: A BLINKING RED light means the recorder battery is running low. Charge it as soon as you can. While recording it may be hard to see the blinking red light with the white one on next to it. Look very closely. Charging: Slide the recorder button into the OFF position. Connect the recorder via USB to a computer to charge. A BLINKING RED light indicates that it is charging. The light will be STEADY RED once fully charged.
