Modified Full Spectrum Camcorder with 8MP Camera. This video camera offers 640x480 needed to capture clear evidence. This camcorder has been professionally modified with UV and IR sensitivity to view the full spectrum of light including light not seen with the human eye.

This Full Spectrum Digital Video Camera will capture images reflected within both ends of the light spectrum. Enhancing the camera's ability to capture light reflected in these frequencies has made this camera an effective and essential photographic evidence gathering tool.

*NOTE* This camcorder does NOT have a tripod/light mount. This camcorder is not suitable for everyday use such as family gathering and sporting events as the hardware modifications to the unit make the picture constantly a 'pinkish' hue during use in daylight.

completely love this camera.  its small and compact and fits just about anywhere.  althought it doesnt connect to a light bracket its little enough that you can use painters tape to tape it to the bracket.    the internal memory is terrible and extremely small but nothing a memory card cant fix!  completely love my new camera and highly recommend!  i love ghoststop and plan on buying more equipment.

4 of 5 Still not "true" full spectrum but best there is February 27, 2012

While this camera to someone who takes everything literally is still not a "full" spectrum as it can't read the lowest or highest ends of the light spectrum fully, it stills does more than any other "full spectrum" camera on the market and unless you have a bulky custom UV or IR camera made by a specialist in the field then you wont find a camera that DOES pick up the very lowest or very highest of the spectrum even then neither will do both, so thumbs up on that aspect. the only thing I don't like is that it feels a little weird in the hands after years of using a standard shaped camera but once I get the tri-mount and the handle I will be adjusting to a new wierdness anyway.

This particular camera didn't have a light filter on the lens but works great the next one I buy from Ghost Stop will have the filter. It's good to have the best of both worlds. GREAT ITEM.
